Supported by strong demographics of retired couples enjoying life, middle aged couples and families with steady incomes. The pub offering needs to support these people by offering a good food menu and community involvement with pub games and entertainment.
The Bucks Head boasts a strong established trade but there is real potential for further growth across the business, particularly in casual drinking and dining.
The planned refurbishment works will include external repairs and decoration of the street facing elevations, including new signage and lighting scheme. Internally the works will comprise of redecoration to the trading and bar area with full an overhaul of the toilet facilities.
The ideal operator will have a proven track record of running sites of a similar style, the ability to develop the food trade will be key. Alongside this it would be desirable if the operator has some experience of managing letting rooms.

Where a significant investment is made in a pub by Star Pubs & Bars, an "Investment Exemption" will be required. The exemption means that the option of a Market Rent Option lease won't be available at rent review for a period of up to seven years for this site, as per The Pub Code (2016).
