About you To be successful as a Towns Pubs Manager, the first thing you’ll need is a big personality. Our Managers become the local hero to their own community and as such need to command respect from both customers and employees alike whilst still being a real ‘mine host’. You’ll also need a hands-on approach to the business and be able to show great initiative, whilst understanding the importance of brand standards at the same time. Naturally, your man management skills must be strong for you to build and keep your team - and it almost goes without saying that good financial acumen and a strong handle on the commercial realities of running a pub is a must.
