Those that enjoy the finer things in life are in the right place if they’re situated in London. With everything from slick cocktail bars to cool cabaret clubs at your fingertips, you really don’t need to venture outside of the capital. And thanks to a new influx of cocktail clubs, there’s now even more reason to stay put and enjoy all the ‘big smoke’ has to offer.

To help you on your quest for the perfect cocktail – along with the most exclusively bars and pubs from which to enjoy it – we’ve put together five of our favourite venues here in London. Read on to discover the city’s best cocktail clubs…

1 - Covent Garden Cocktail Club – The perfect spot if you’re heading to the theatre or rounding off a day spent taking in the cool street performers outside the market, Covent Garden offers a host of things to do and places to see. Places like the Convent Garden Cocktail Club, which offer two for one on drinks via the bar in this members-only venue. Simply register for your free membership (it usually takes just 24 hours) and get ready to enjoy your favourite cocktails in one of the most exclusive nightspots in London.

2 - The London Cocktail Club, Oxford Circus – Live or work close to Oxford Circus? If you like the Covent Garden Cocktail Club you’ll love this one, which is situated on the city’s Goodge Street. A creative British cocktail bar, The London Cocktail Club’s guests can experience an array of delicious drinks in a cool, casual environment. A basement venue it has a kitch ambience and an almost punk vibe, designed by one of London’s top graffiti artists. While it may not be for everyone, there’s certainly something very intriguing about this venue, which offers dim lighting but with a brightly lit cocktail bar, which entices the crowds in and serves a huge array of spirits.

3 - The Jam Jar Cocktail Club – A family-run bar hire company, this cocktail club serves stylish cocktails using locally-sourced fruit – we like the sound of it already. So while this is called a cocktail club, it’s less of an exclusive members’ hangout and more of a mobile bar. Delivering the bar to your event, this cool company will serve cocktails to your guests to help you relax and enjoy the party. You can even choose the cocktails you’d like to be served!

4 - Paramount – Offering stunning views, Paramount is both chic and exclusive. That said, it’s a bar that doesn’t make you feel out of place, or intimated. Simply hop in the lift at ground level and make your way to the 32nd floor. A beautiful venue, the bar has been designed by Tom Dixon and is every inch the showstopper. Go there for the drinks, the atmosphere and those views!

5 - The London Cocktail Club, Oxford Circus – The fourth instalment of the highly regarded LCC empire, this Oxford Circus venue is known to those who frequent it as Goodge Street’s cooler, younger brother. The theme of the interior is ‘Gangster Tequila Paradise’, with drinks and the venue’s décor based around this idea; simply head down a darkened staircase and you’re in downtown LA – it’s all about the experience here at this venue. With staff wearing bandanas and checked shirts, this is a hip and trendy hangout for anyone looking for a cocktail club with a difference.
