Course, Gardens and Grounds Teams – keeping it green since 1901

With over 100 acres of grounds to look after including 28 tennis courts, four croquet lawns, established gardens and highly respected 18-hole golf course, the Course, Gardens and Grounds Teams are kept busy in all weathers. This large, diverse, and passionate team have expertise in all areas of course, grounds and gardens production and maintenance and have their own dedicated building with offices, kitchen, machinery, and tool sheds. Some of the Club’s longest-serving staff members are based in the Garden’s Team with three of them clocking up over 100 years of continued service between them! The early starts (and finishes) are not for everyone but if your passion is to work outside, help the team to achieve the highest standards and gain training for your own professional development then this could be the team for you.

Food and Beverage – Kitchen Team, Members Bar, Club Café, Bistro, Juice Bar and Piazza Pavilion

The Food and Beverage team work together in a welcoming, sustainability-focussed and friendly environment to deliver a range of delicious dishes, drinks and snacks to our Members. The Club Café was renovated in 2023 and offers a bright and airy work environment in which Club Members can also enjoy getting together with family and friends. The Club’s board and management team are always working to improve the facilities for staff and Members and in spring 2024 the Kitchen Team returned to their brand-new, fully refurbished electrical kitchen. The Kitchen Team are experienced in a variety of backgrounds and are passionate about providing great dishes for Members and their guests using the best produce and with a sustainable approach. While working in the Members Bar, the team enjoy a view over the golf course and Members finishing off their rounds on the 18th green.

Events Team

The small but highly efficient Team organises a calendar busy with a variety of social events for the Members to enjoy and help with Members’ arrangements for their own Member-led events, exhibitions, and dinners. Supported by the Food and Beverage Team they deliver events, parties, and conferences.

Housekeeping

The housekeeping team include staff who have worked at the Club for many years, and they are responsible for keeping the Club clean, tidy and in tip-top condition – from the interior of the Clubhouse and the Members’ changing rooms to all areas of the Health Club and beyond.

Health Club – gym and fitness studios, indoor and outdoor swimming pools

Work with an international team taking care of all elements of the Health Club including lifeguards watching out for Member-safety poolside, to Personal Trainers looking after Members’ fitness and wellbeing, and our friendly and welcoming Reception Team.

Maintenance

With a site as large as the Club and many different facilities housed within, this small team of long-serving experts in their fields of electrician, plumber, painter, and general maintenance are responsible for keeping the facilities in tip-top condition and working order for staff and Members

Reception

The Reception Team are trained to the highest standards in Customer Service and enjoy working as the first point of contact for Members, Guests, and Visitors when they arrive at the Club or Health Club. They handle a wide variety of face-to-face, phone and email enquiries and work with a range of sy
