Drimsynie Estate, in the idyllic setting of Lochgoilhead, Argyll, is an award-winning complex of premium lodges, chalets and caravans.

Based just over an hour from Glasgow, we are in the final phase of completing a newly built extension to Drimsynie House including new kitchen, restaurants, terrace bar, conference and banqueting facilities.

As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team of F&B Assistants, Team Leaders and Chefs in the delivery of first class customer service to our guests, reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager and Director.

You will already have significant experience within the hotel or hospitality industry at Team Leader or Supervisor level.  As a customer-facing ambassador for our business your responsibilities would include:

  • Monitoring and managing standards of service across the F&B areas, interacting with customers to develop and maintain excellent customer relations and guest satisfaction.
  • Assisting in the delivery of the Sales Plan for Food & Beverages in line with budget including the management of stocks, staff rotas and utilisation.
  • Coaching and development of staff, particularly in the areas of customer service and in identifying additional revenue generating opportunities.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety and HACCP work practices.
  • Leading by example in handling any issues promptly and effectively if they arise.

In addition to your upbeat, positive nature, strong customer focus and attention to detail you will have proven you already have the main qualities needed to shine in this role with ready examples of:

  • Coaching and directing a high performing team.
  • Responding effectively to customer needs.
  • Confident handling of electronic ordering and cash systems.
  • Your ability to work effectively under pressure.

In return, you can benefit from working and living in one of the most stunning locations in Scotland where we also offer:

  • Staff accommodation.
  • Free access to our leisure facilities across all of our locations.
  • Discounted staff meals on shift.
  • Staff discounts on food, beverages and activities.
  • Opportunities for further career development including access to the Argyll Academy and Argyll Achievers Awards.
  • 28 days holiday.
  • Contributory pension scheme.
  • Hours of work are normally 5 days from 7 and may include split shifts.
