Catering Assistant - Grantham

There is nothing like the buzz of a busy kitchen producing great food. PGL takes great pride in serving quality dishes to our young guests and staff, and with children’s activity centres across the UK, and France, we’ve put together a fantastic catering team to help make PGL a place where people love to work and stay.

We’re currently recruiting new staff to join the team as Catering Assistants in 2019. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from friendly, knowledgeable catering professionals in a fun working environment.

Whether you’re looking for a new career or you already have experience, you’ll be supported every step of the way of your working adventure as a PGL Catering Assistant. You’ll get to develop your skills from the ground floor, from pot wash to food prep. The chances for progression are all dependent on your own ambition. Many of our Chefs started as Catering Assistants before further developing their career.

If you’re enthusiastic, have a willingness to learn, and can deliver high standards of customer service, you’re the person we’re looking for to join us in the kitchen.

All of our roles come with onsite accommodation so, as well as an exciting new job, you’ll be part of the PGL community which gives you the opportunity to meet like-minded people from around the world and get involved with a vibrant social calendar. The atmosphere on our activity centres is one of the main reasons our staff return to PGL year after year!

In addition, you’ll receive a competitive staff package, free uniform, and access to training and development opportunities.

Founded in 1957, PGL is the UK’s leading provider of residential activity holidays and educational courses for young people.
