With over 400 years of history and located in the Forest Of Bowland AONB, The Ship at Caton is an inviting country pub with a real cosy feel. Exposed stone walls, low beamed ceilings and real open fires create a warm and friendly environment. Surrounding the bar there is extensive seating used for both drinking and dining. There is a large fully equipped catering kitchen, a large wrap around car park and a beer garden. The living accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms, large bathroom, lounge, kitchen, staff room and large storage room. High standards have been maintained throughout the trading and living areas.

Trading Style

Trade at the Ship comes from the local village and surrounding areas. It also benefits from passing trade due to it’s location. Along with a regular wet trade, a full food offer is provided, using fresh and locally sourced produce. For the Ship we are looking for an operator with catering experience who is operational within the business.
