Food & Beverage Manager - Hurtmore Golf Club

Five minutes from Godalming, our 18-hole course designed by Peter Alliss, is now looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join our team.  The recently refurbished clubhouse includes a state of the art golf simulator and a large patio for our members to enjoy post round refreshment.

Candidates require Food and Beverage experience at supervisor level or higher.

The successful candidate will have the ability and passion to run the efficient management of all food, beverage and retail activities to the highest level. 

They will also require the following:

  • A proven track record in the leisure and hospitality industry
  • Ability to manage all day to day food & beverage operations
  • Ability to supervise, manage and coach employees
  • Experienced at running events
  • Experience with setting menus and food pricing
  • Proficient in monitoring and controlling stock
  • High level of inter-personal skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Branded food led business experience.

The nature of our business necessitates that the successful applicant will be required to work some weekends and Bank Holidays. 

Working hours are normally from 8am to 4pm and only occasional evenings (on average once a month) in the kitchen. Bar hours are up to 9pm during peak season.

The role will involve working approximately 3 days per week as chef and 2 days per week in bar.

Salary: £24,000 PA
