About the Pub

The Local Pubs division is part of the Greene King Retail Division - our largest and fastest growing business. With approximately 500 sites across the UK. Our Local Pubs division operates a range of unique community and high-street pubs which attract a variety of customers and offer something for everyone.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Greene King Locals team in the Somerset region. This fantastic General Managers vacancy has come around due to to internal moves within this region and we are looking for fresh new talent to come and join this amazing area.

To be successful you will need to be a true leader, someone who cares for the people they work with. From understanding individual motivations, through to training, coaching and developing the team to their fullest potential so they can become the best possible version of themselves. A happy team is a successful team.

You will need to have experience of running pubs with a focus on being part of the community. Hosting quiz nights, karaoke, and be really invested in sports to bring in and increase wet sales.
