We are the Alton Towers Resort and we are part of the magical Merlin Entertainments!

 

As an Admissions Host you will be the face of the resort, being one of the first and last team members our guests interact with, delivering the most magical start and end to their day! Based at the Theme Park entrance; on the entrance plaza, turnstiles and car parks, in this unique role you will have the opportunity to interact with every single guest who visits our Theme Park - playing a key role in ensuring our guests have the most smooth, efficient and memorable arrival and departure experience!

 

Our ideal Admissions Hosts are people who love working outside in fast paced environments, having an energetic, positive and proactive nature to deliver memorable experiences to our guests during long and busy days! You will be someone who loves a challenge and is able to think on their feet, as you’ll be the first point of call for any issues guests have while parking their cars or using their tickets. You’ll be someone who loves to share their passion and knowledge for the resort, and thrive off a work environment when you are presented with new scenarios on a daily basis, all whilst using your initiative to deliver the best possible service each and every time!

 

Hours in this role range from 5 to 12 per day. Successful candidates will be required to walk large areas at a fast pace on a daily basis. For those who excel in their roles we offer excellent opportunities for progression both within the Admissions department and wider resort!

 

We are currently looking for real team players who enjoy working in a variety of roles. Successful candidates will primarily work as an Admissions Host, however will also be trained in other areas of the department, including working as a cashier within our Ticket Sales & Collections building – this will involve cash handling and using a touchscreen till.”

This role can be either full time or part time, fixed term, from March 2019 until 10th November 2019, working weekends and bank holidays as required.  Minimum pay rate is £6.50 per hour and are in line with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage.
