The Abel Heywood are now seeking a strong Deputy Manager for their exciting concept in the Northern Quarter.

Who are we?

The Abel Heywood pub with its 15 boutique rooms is slap bang in the Northern Quarter. Not your ordinary pub, you’ll find a wealth of great food, beers & great wines. As well as the pub downstairs the first floor has been fully refurbished to give our customers an even greater experience. Miss Jessie Heywoods Remarkable Gin and Food Emporium, will offer over seventy gins and a food menu featuring contemporary dishes, small plates, sharing platters and main courses

The Role and you

Are you an existing Deputy Manager looking for a new challenge? Are you looking for a role with more diversity and opportunity to learn, progress and lead a team forward? Have you worked and held a site that takes over £20K net a week? If you have answered yes to those questions, then this could be the role for you!

Working alongside another Deputy Manager you’ll be key to making the Abel Heywood not only a success but a great working environment. You will be a right hand man or woman to the General Manager in overseeing the site.  We are not just looking for a pub Deputy Manager but someone who ideally has experience in marketing and social media.

There will also be regular administration involved in running such a unique and complex site and this role will pick up some aspects of this.  You’ll also be involved in people management, events, and the of course the hotel.
