As a Host, you will be a presentable, welcoming and organised individual. You will greet guests as they enter and show them to their table or bar area. You will also engage with guests to ensure their experience in the restaurant is a memorable one. To do well in this role you should be comfortable standing for long periods and managing a very busy shift. You will report to the Head Host.

You will be responsible for:

• Greeting guests
• Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
• Seating guests at tables
• Assigning guests to tables they request, while keeping table rotation in mind
• Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service
• Being the communication between front of house and back of house
• Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering queries
• Updating booking details
• Diverting queries to the correct departments / Managers
• A knowledge of the menu
• Providing great customer service with a smile
