Job Details
We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Pub Manager to take the reins of our stunning pub restaurant The Rowbarge in Woolhampton, near Reading!
The Rowbarge has a great reputation in the area, so trade is already consistent and our large garden besides the river offers a real opportunity to grow sales further over the Summer. As Pub Manager you'll be ensuring the smooth running of our busy pub. That means you'll be serving guests in the bar & restaurant, training & leading our team and managing busy services & special events. The Rowbarge is a food led pub and we are lucky to have a kitchen team who deliver high quality, fresh dishes which change every 6 weeks.
The pub is a part of Brunning and Price - you might know our local sister pubs The Horse and Groom in Hare Hatch or The Packhorse in Mapledurham. We offer the freedom of a great independent local built on the idea that the most important thing is happy people (both guests and the team) but with the financial stability and savvy know-how of a big group backing you up whenever you need it. Oh, and we like beer. A lot.
