Cocktail Bartender - Boston 

‘Boston’ is our cocktail lounge on the first floor. It has become one of Soho’s most renowned hidden gems. This elegant lounge offers an intimate, speakeasy-style late night bar, with a great selection of classic and original cocktails. The space is finished with original 1920’s wood panelling and Art Decor lighting, to create a sophisticated and relaxed environment.
 

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a cocktail bartender role
• Knowledge of cocktails, classics and wines
• Awareness of the history of cocktails and spirits
• Enthusiasm for events management, tastings, trainings and masterclasses 

Responsible to: 

• General Manager
• Lead Bartender
• Head of Group Operations
• Directors

Key Responsibilities

To assist the Lead Bartender with the daily duties of managing the business, including:

1. Opening of the business in accordance with set up duties
2. Preparation for the day’s bookings/events – check diary.
3. Taking on briefings and what the night will entail 
4. Keep up to date with current drink trends and service techniques 
5. Helping the update of menu and creative of new drinks
6. Ensuring the customer journey is a success 
7. Full knowledge of cocktail menu and bar stock list 

Above all, your drink making and  interpersonal skills with customers and staff of Boston will be the most important consideration and the key skill which will enable you to be successful in your role.
