We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Hotel and Food Services Manager to be a part of our integral team at Wise Campus, Bristol BS34 8LP

- Full time, 40 hours a week – Monday – Friday with occasional weekend, term time only

What you'll be doing
- Manage and lead your team to success – ensure training and development for team members is up to date
- Process payroll and assist with rotas
- Conduct team appraisals and job chats as required
- Manage the kitchen with production of daily menu with support of a chef.
- Ensure all compliance is followed,
- Promote brand standards on the outlet,
- Mange the coffee outlet along side the supervisor,
- Manage the onsite team and ensure learning and development is completed.
- Stock taking.
- Food ordering.
- Trading the weekly accounts.
- Develop good commercial relationships with suppliers
- Receive and deal with customer complaints appropriately and ensure compliments are shared with the team
- Organise monthly stock count and conduct appropriate brand standard audits
- Help in the recruitment and retention of team members
Experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a food service environment is desirable
- A DBS check is required
- Catering experience
- Lead by example, be able to manage a team of colleagues and have a positive, can do attitude
