THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting a talented General Manager in training with lots of personality & banter for the iconic Ten Bells, a historic and traditional East End London boozer. With the main bar serving the best Guinness in Spitalfields, there's also a cool first floor cocktail bar and a cosy lounge for private events and meetings on the second floor.

It's a busy pub with an incredible atmosphere and lots of locals and tourists coming to visit this 1666 institution.

As GM in training, you will have a lot of responsibility in the day-to-day running of the venue and will work closely with your GM to ensure the team is fully trained and provide the most amazing customer experience. Our ideal GM in training has great experience leading & training teams on bar & floor operations and will have good all-round business knowledge.

This role would suit someone that is currently a GM in a similar London venue, looking to to progress and take on their own venue within the next 8 to 10 months.

REQUIREMENTS

· Energetic, creative, welcoming - a true Hospitality leader

· Able to work under pressure with ease, nothing can phase you

· Must have experience running a busy wet-led pub in London

· Solid communication skills and insane organisational skills

· Superb customer service skills

· Good understanding of financials, reports, banking and back-office admin

· A big passion for, and knowledge of cocktails preferred

· Forward thinking & confident in what you do

· Passionate about recruitment, training, mentoring & growing the team

· Fast learner and looking to take on your own site in 8 to 10 months

· Personal License holder
