Moor Hall Hotel & Spa

Moor Hall Hotel & Spa is a four-star hotel located in Sutton Coldfield, just north of Birmingham with 83 bedrooms, two restaurants and bar, a leisure club and spa, 6 meeting rooms and large outdoor grounds with woodlands.

The hotel has a rich history dating back to the 16^th century when it was owned by Bishop Vesey, who frequently entertained Henry VIII. It was rebuilt in the early 1900s by Colonel Edward Ansell of Ansell Brewery fame and many of the wood carvings, stained glass windows and stonework can be seen throughout the hotel today.

Michael Webb bought the hotel in the 1960s and it was well known for its discos and flower power parties! Michael Webb was also instrumental in bringing the Best Western brand to the UK to market independently owned hotels nationwide and globally and in 2003, Moor Hall was the first UK hotel to achieve Best Western Premier status.

Today the hotel is a busy hotel attracting leisure and business guests using the hotel for variety of reasons. The hotel is a popular choice for weddings and the new Outdoor Wedding license means couples can now have ceremonies in the sunken garden in the grounds of Moor Hall.

The two AA Rosette Oak Room restaurant is in the top 3 restaurants in Sutton Coldfield on TripAdvisor, with the Country Kitchen carvery in the top 10.
